Katie first started in the business when she was just 21 years old. Whilst she initially had a love-hate relationship with the business she soon fell in love with numbers and the opportunity that business offered. Going onto study accounting and having worked in all manner of businesses from family-owned SMEs to publicly listed mining companies Katie brings to the team experience and a passion for teaching financial literacy. She wants families and business owners to financially thrive, not just survive so they can live PURPOSE-FULL lives.
Katie has spent the last year writing financial literacy
programmes which will be rolled out nationally. She wants business owners to fall in love with their money story. Eventually she plans to introduce money programmes into primary schools, so the next generation gets a head start. At home, Katie is wifey to Bruce, mama to her 2.5 year old tiny tot, Jonathon and a lover of fur babies. She loves the noise and chaos of large families, has a very wry sense of humour and adores her reception business team. As with all WA folk she believes that business is about family and communities and even though the VOC team is remote Katie is already
planning the annual cross-country pilgrimage and New Year celebrations with her cohorts in the East!
